What a great way to celebrate your 50th Birthday, by racing at the Oliver’s Mount Spring Cup!
This was the case for Robin King, who toasted last month his landmark Birthday at Scarborough, as he tackled his latest English pure road racing expedition.
Enjoying support from Moto Edit Motorcycles, Silkolene the Cambourne racer’s Spring Cup racing account opened with a respectable top 15 finish in the opening Supersport heat, that was won by Lee Johnston.
King’s next race outing saw him secure another top 15 finish in the re-started opening Supersport B race.
Sunday’s sole Supersport B encounter would provide a third successive top 15 finish, as the 72 plate holder took 13th.
Eagerly awaiting the upcoming Barry Sheene Classic, King who is good friends with Justin ‘Weeman’ Collins has already as showcased above had quite the memorable moment or two at Scarborough in 2021.
