Leading lights during the Principal Insurance Masters Superbike Championship, support series season opener included JMcC Roofing Racing’s Adam McLean and prospective Northwest 200, TT Races debutant Kevin Keyes.
Edenderry’s Keyes, racing under the Daracore Racing umbrella, went unbeaten in the premier Superbike class plus obtained the spoils within the final middleweight class, Supersport race stint.
Besting Keyes from the first two Supersport races was Tobermore’s McLean, who proved again his abilities to switch between roads, purpose-built circuits.
The 2022 Steve Henshaw Gold Cup winner, is set to soon his International Road Racing Championship debut, racing for series stalwarts Performance Racing Achterhoek.
Stephen Tobin, twenty seventh in last year’s Senior Manx Grand Prix, chalked up a brace of Moto 400 victories. Michael Sweeney made a welcome return to the podium as did Roadhouse Macau by FHO’s Brian McCormack.
Additional roads scene graduates racing last weekend at Mondello Park included the Chawke brothers James & Liam, Eoin O’Siochru.
Dean Lacey, Michael Gillan, Kevin Baker, Darragh Crean, Noel Carroll and the ever-smiling Andy Farrell.
