James Hillier secured superb second place finish in formula 1 classic TT. James competing on Jackson racing Kawasaki gained a typically quick start to Glen Helen on opening lap battling for race lead with Bruce Anstey and Michael Dunlop.
Second lap saw the 2013 lightweight TT winner move into race lead having elected to pit at end of lap two. Following pit stop James was now comfortably into second position which he held to the line.
This is the highly rated rider’s fourth podium finish on the mountain course having recorded his first back in 2012 in lightweight TT. TT 2014 was a consistent one for the sixth quickest rider in TT history which included 5th place finish in senior TT and second position in lightweight TT.
