Decent conditions all round at Horice greeted next generation, experienced IRRC speedsters, for this afternoon’s ten lap Supersport race stint.
Putting aside the disappointments of the morning’s competition, Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Jorn Hamberg made a steadfast start.
0.4 clear at the end of lap one, the completion of lap five would see him move almost 0.5 ahead of Marek Cerveny.
Cerveny though known for his tenacious race craft, never give up attitude by lap seven was into first.
Despite Hamberg’s best efforts, Cerveny would go onto clinch a 25th IRRC affiliated race victory.
His final race winning advantage over Hamberg stood at exactly 1.884 seconds.
Team Schleizer Dreieck’s Thomas Walther took third whilst Karel Brandtner enjoyed an impressive run to fourth.
Ilja Caljouw placed fifth with sixth going to top Horice debutant, twice Supersport TT winner Gary Johnson.
Finalising the top ten finishers behind Brigg’s Johnson were Sebastian Frotscher, Julien Cregniot, Romain Cleaz-Savoyen and Wolfgang Schuster.
