IRRC Horice: Lagrive Holds Off Walther To Bank Opening Supersport Race Honours

Emerging on top out of a close fought battle for honours in the opening seven lap Supersport encounter at Horice, Matthieu Lagrive reinforced his IRRC Supersport title credentials by sealing his seventh class victory of the season.

Wepol Racing’s Lagrive starting from second on the grid, relentless, consistent pace proved just to much in the end for race pole sitter Thomas Walther who at the completion of the seventh and final lap, was 0.442 behind his fellow YZF R6 Yamaha mounted competitor.

Behind Hoffmann, Max Gaube impressed in finishing an excellent fourth as lead Suzuki runner Jochen Rotter banked a solid fifth place finish.

Wrapping up the top ten finishers were Petr Wiesenberg, Jonathan Goetschy, Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Pierre Yves Bian, Kai Zentner and Sebastian Frotscher.
