Alongside his exploits in the IRRC Supersport races, he also powered the Delaur Road Racing Belgium Kawasaki, to another brace of runner up placing’s, this time within the BeNecup (Belgium Netherlands Cup) Supersport encounters.
Reflecting recently via Facebook, on a weekends competition which yielded in total four second place finishes, he stated:
“Perfect weekend. If you do 4 races and climb the podium 4 times in second place. You can say: No win. But in this competition securing second places is hard, very hard.
Beat my PB by over 1 second and half, only 0.2 from the lap record. Finishing in the slipstream of the winner. A big star Who’s won at Le Mans and other big races.
Yes the level goes up every year and I’m still within the front pack, chasing them. So am I proud of those 2nd places? A big Hell yeah! A big dekujeme moc to Petr Košťál for fixing My gearbox. Without you this was not possible! Thanks to the sponsors, My crew and My loved ones for their support.”
