Marek Cerveny will hold a 12 and a half-point Championship lead, going into this afternoon’s IRRC Supersport finale, after Jorn Hamberg claimed opening middleweight class spoils at Frohburger Dreieck.
Race pole-sitter Hamberg, had the edge on P2 finisher, early race leader Cerveny, going onto finish victorious by nigh-on seven seconds.
Scooping third in this morning’s ten-lap race stint was IRRC Superbike Champion, Lukas Maurer astride the Closed Roads Racing Yamaha.
Just 0.397 in arrears to Maurer was TT 2022 participant, Ilja Caljouw.
Highly impressive roads scene returner Derek McGee placed fifth, finishing only 0.828 behind Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Caljouw.
Team Schleizer Dreieck’s Sebastian Frotscher took sixth as Petr Najman, Mauro Poncini, Wolfgang Schuster, twice Supersport TT winner Gary Johnson finalised the first ten finishers.
Johnson’s fellow Brits Jamie Williams, Forest Dunn, Rhys Hardisty attained respective twelfth, thirteenth, twentieth place finishes.
