IRRC Frohburg: First Rate Webb Continues Premier Class Supremacy

Continuing his unrivalled present IRRC Superbike supremacy, Wepol Racing by Penz 13.com’s Danny Webb took his tally of IRRC Superbike successes for 2018 to seven, following another truly peerless performance at Frohburg.

Dominant throughout today’s opening eight lap big bike encounter, the Tunbridge Wells racer was as so often throughout this season in a class of his own, as he claimed race honours by a healthy margin of 8.5 seconds.

Joining him on the podium were team mates Derek Sheils and Davey Todd, who were separated at the chequered flag by just 0.31 of a second.

Frohburg debutant Todd although just missing out on 2nd, further showcased his growing prowess at Frohburg by setting the fastest lap of the race on lap seven, lapping at 1 minute 44.799 seconds.

Just over half a second behind the impressive Todd in fourth place, was German roads legend Didier Grams who in turn finished plus 14 seconds clear of Marek Cerveny.

Markka Racing’s Erno Kostamo made it an all BMW Motorrad top six, David Datzer banked seventh whilst the non BMW challenge was lead by Switzerland’s Lukas Maurer.
