Newly crowned six-times IRRC Champion, Marek Cerveny, ended his latest tumultuous race season on a winning note, emerging P1 from a thrilling second nine-lap, Frohburg Supersport contest.
Cerveny astride the distinctive sounding WRP Wepol Racing Parts Triumph, was-locked in a race long dice for victory spoils with Laserscanning Europe by PSB Motorsport Yamaha equipped, Paul Jordan.
Both-inside the IRRC Frohburg Supersport lap-record (Jordan new lap-record holder – 1.36.880 seconds), 0.612 covered the charging pair at mid race distance.
Pole-sitter Jordan, race leader throughout laps one, two, three, four and five, continued to keep P1 as concluding race stages entered fruition.
With one lap to go, the twice Super Twins TT podium finisher, Northwest 200 race winner had a 0.220 gap over Cerveny.
All would change though on the ninth, final lap, as the ever tenacious, determined Cerveny hit the front when needed most, in the end finishing 0.236 ahead of Jordan.
Matej Vit third, made it Czech riders x2 on the rostrum with Gary Johnson (Team Schleizer Dreieck – Suzuki) top brit again in fourth.
Ilja Caljouw obtained fifth, rapidly improving Swiss rider Mauro Poncini banked sixth as Petr Najman, IRRC Superbike Champion Darryl Tweed, Moritz Klaus, Thomas Wendel filled placings seventh to tenth.
