Twice IRRC Supersport champion Laurent Hoffmann is targeting a return to international roads competition next year, as part of a planned enhanced roads schedule.
Tenth in the final championship standings of this years IRRC Supersport series, the amiable Belgian concluded his 2017 roads season in fine style at Frohburg, winning the penultimate round of the championship, following a great performance in treacherous wet, damp conditions.
Aiming for much better luck in 2018 within the IRRC, one of the main aims for Laurent is to essentially finish more races! having this year encountered various mechanical issues.
Set to pilot again in 2018, his own teams ZX6R Kawasaki, tielrode based racer is also set to move onto Superbike machinery at the North West 200.

Amongst the leading newcomers to the Triangle in 2014, his prospective inclusion to the entry for the Giant Causeway based meeting next year, is guaranteed to gain publicity a plenty in Belgium and throughout continental Europe.
Outside of competition on the coast roads, Laurent is additionally aiming to compete for the first time at the world’s fastest road race, the MCE Insurance Ulster Grand Prix, plus planning to return to Oliver’s Mount at the season opening Bob Smith Spring Cup Road Races.
An ambitious rider, he’s proved time and time again in the 2010’s why he is established as one of Belgium’s most highly regarded and respected roads exponents.
Determined to return to UK shores for international competition, it would not be a surprise at all to see him wrap up a string of top quality results in 2018 at many of pure road racing’s most prestigious and famous venues.
