An inspirational rider will grace the 2017 Tandragee 100, as Talan Skeels-Piggins founder of the Bike Experience Charity, takes part in the parade lap at the opening Irish road race meeting of the season.
Talan who is paralysed from the chest down, doesn’t let his disability stop him from his passion of riding motorcycles.

A podium finisher last year in the MRO 600 class, Talan stated recently, how the idea of the Bike Experience Charity arose, he stated:
“When I am riding I do not feel disabled, I feel free from my wheelchair, I enjoy the sense of excitement and independence just as I used to.
Getting to this point has been a struggle, but it has been worth it.
I wanted to help other disabled motorcyclists have the fantastic feeling of being back on a bike, without the falls and setbacks I suffered, so The Bike Experience Charity was established.”
Individuals like Talan are true heroes, ones that never give up on their dreams, despite encountering firm obstacles.
