Impressive Performances From Andy Lawson At Spring Cup

2014 junior Manx Grand Prix winner Andy Lawson produced impressive performances at the season opening Spring Cup National Road Races.

Andy competing on Shirlaws motorcycles ZX6R Kawasaki clinched eighth place finish in opening junior A as he began his 2015 road racing season in solid and consistent fashion.

Super twins race 1 was next up and ER6 Kawasaki mounted Andy produced a top class display as he finished a highly creditable fifth.

Fifth position in opening classic formula 1 race was further proof as to why Andy is considered one of the most improved riders around Oliver’s Mount in recent years.

It’s set to be a busy 2015 road racing campaign for Andy who is set to compete next weekend at the Cookstown 100 in open, supersport, super twin and grand final races.

One of the main highlights this year for him is set to be competing for the first time at the Isle of Man TT.

Shirlaws motorcycles racing team manager Craig Shirlaw is confident that Andy can secure standout results at TT 2015.

Competition in superbike, supersport, superstock, lightweight and senior TT races is all set to happen for the rider who has lapped on the mountain course in the 118 mph bracket.
