Joey Den Besten made it back to back Supersport victories at Imatranajo today, producing series of textbook performances on the Performance Racing Achterhoek YZF R6 Yamaha.
With the race red flagged on the final lap following an incident involving Ilja Caljouw, the talented Dutch riders final lead advantage stood at 1.7 seconds, over Thomas Walther, who sealed a third podium finish of the 2017 Imatranajo meeting.
Christian Schmitz, planning to make his Ulster GP debut in August, rounded out the podium finishers.
Jochen Rotter was fourth, whilst Anssi Koski lead the local challenge in fifth place.
Max Gaube sealed sixth as 2012 Newcomers A Manx GP winner Kamil Holan, Tapio Mustonen, Sebastian Frotscher and Miroslav Sloboda concluded the top ten finishers.
