For the second time in this year’s road racing season, high winds have thwarted high-level international roads action, this time at Imatranajo.
Opening qualifying explorations are on hold till tomorrow, thanks to the same problem that put pay to the 2025 Milwaukee Senior TT.
A statement issued via Imatranajo’s official Facebook page, succinctly summed up why Friday’s intended timed action, is a non-starter.
“No driving (riding) today, the wind is too strong. The competition management and the judge have decided that they will not drive (ride) due to the wind that is too dangerous.”
Just over forty minutes ago, a new look itinerary for tomorrow’s qualifying, race activities, was published.
