2025 Southern 100: Qualifying/Races Schedule

Sub five days now till Billown is serenaded by the distinctive tones of four-stroke, three-wheeling apparatus.

70th Anniversary Southern 100 competition opens on Monday evening, with newcomers practice laps, opening qualifying bursts.

Fifteen are scheduled to sped into fruition, including the prestigious Solo Championship, won in 2022 and 2024 by Monster Energy 8TEN Racing BMW’s Davey Todd.

Alongside RST X D3O Superbike TT winner Todd, bucket loads of focus will additionally over upcoming days, transcend upon to name but a few:

25 times S100 victors Honda Racing UK’s Dean Harrison, TT wins record holder Michael Dunlop, Sidecar Mountain Course history makers, the Crowe brothers Ryan & Callum.

Nathan Harrison (H&H Motorcycles) who gained 130 Mph Club membership at TT 2025, back to race fitness Jamie Coward (KTS Racing Powered by Stanley Stewart), Paul Jordan, Michael Evans, Super Twins lap record holder Rob Hodson (SMT Racing), Pete Founds/Jevan Walmsley, Tim Reeves/Kevin Kolsch and Lee Crawford/Scott Hardie.

The full, present practice/qualifying/races timetable for this year’s Southern 100, which marks as stated above, 70 years since the ‘Friendly Races’, first held closed roads competition, reads as follows:

7th July:

6:00 PM – Roads close
6:14-6:25 PM – Newcomers practice laps
6:26-6:40 PM – 1100cc (Superstock/Superbike) red plates first qualifying
6:47-7:01 PM – Lightweight (Super Twins) first qualifying
7:29-7:43 PM – Supersport white plates first qualifying
7:50-8:04 PM – Supersport yellow plates first qualifying
8:11-8:25 PM – 1100cc (Superstock/Superbike) red plates second qualifying
8:32-8:46 PM – Lightweight (Super Twins) second qualifying
8:53-9:10 PM – Sidecars first qualifying

8th July:

6:00 PM – Roads close
6:18-6:30 PM – Solo Non Qualifiers qualifying
6:37-6:49 PM – Supersport white plates second qualifying
6:56-7:08 PM – Supersport yellow plates second qualifying
7:15-7:32 PM – Sidecars second qualifying
8:00 PM – Senior Race – 7 Laps
8:35 PM – Lightweight Race – 6 Laps

9th July:

6:00 PM – Roads close
6:25 PM – Senior Race – 7 Laps
7:05 PM – Supersport B Race – 7 Laps
7:40 PM – Supersport A Race – 7 Laps
8:30 PM – Sidecars Race – 6 Laps

10th July:

09:30 AM – Roads close
09:50 AM – Supersport B Race – 7 Laps
10:30 AM – Supersport A Race – 7 Laps
11:10 AM – Solo Founders Race – 6 Laps
11:40 AM – Senior Race – 7 Laps
12:15 PM – Lightweight Consolation Race – 6 Laps

1:30 PM – Roads re-close
1:50 PM – Supersport Challenge Race – 7 Laps
2:30 PM – Lightweight Race – 6 Laps
3:20 PM – Solo Championship Race – 9 Laps
4:00 PM – Sidecar Championship Race – 8 Laps

8:30 PM – Awards presentation evening
