Imatra has been added to this years Duke Road Race Rankings schedule, as the famous Finnish meeting forms for the first time, part of the prestigious roads series.
Taking place from the 7th to the 9th of July, Imatra hosts the second of the International Road Racing Championship. Famous names set to participate include Penz 13 BMW trio Michael Rutter, Dan Kneen and Danny Webb, plus IRRC champions such as Marek Cerveny, Didier Grams and Sebastien Le Grelle.
Since it’s return to the roads scene last year, Finland’s most famous roads event has proved once again, an instant hit, primarily in my opinion cause of the unique setting of the course, it’s history, the enthusiasm of the organisers and that it’s a real riders circuit.
