2016 Super Twins Manx GP winner Rob Hodson has confirmed this evening via Facebook, that he will take part in this year’s Macau Grand Prix.
Hodson who finished amongst the leading Guia Circuit newcomers in 2018, second Macau GP expedition is set to see him compete on top spec S1000RR BMW machinery.
Rated highly by various fellow International roads exponents, JGH Racing’s Hodson has quietly impressed many this season, banking multiple top quality results include rostrum finishes at the Southern 100.

July’s competition at Billown saw SMT Racing supported Hodson prior to securing an excellent third place finish within the feature Solo Championship race, come agonisingly close to Super Twins Race 1 success, finishing just 0.20 of a second behind class winner Dominic Herbertson.
Back on Manx shores last month for the Classic TT Races, he maintained his good form from the ‘Friendly Races’, going onto acquire 9th, 7th place finishes in the four lap Locate.im Junior, RST Superbike encounters.
Another ambitious, talented, growing in experience next generation International Roads competitor that’s keen to jump up a level or two, he’s more than capable of banking at minimum a top ten placing at an event that since 1967 has hosted thrilling, captivating road racing action, the illustrious Macau GP.
