Hillier, Johnson To Race Rich Energy OMG Yamaha’s

Two years thwarted by the Covid-19 pandemic, Rich Energy OMG Racing are ultra-looking forward to finally joining the International roads scene in 2022.

As planned for 2020, 2021, their rider line-up features 2013 Lightweight TT winner James Hillier and Australia’s quickest Mountain Course exponent David Johnson.

Both Hillier and Johnson who between them have amassed to date fifteen TT podium finishes, will pilot at this year’s North West 200 and TT Races, R6/R1 Yamaha machinery.

Likely to be Yamaha’s lead Superstock/Superbike TT/NW200 challengers, it’s going to be intriguing to see how competitive the OMG squad is.

They have the right ingredients, the services of two of International road racing’s most dependable, experienced racers, strong support from Yamaha, boundless enthusiasm, drive and determination.

Time will tell how the Rich Energy OMG set-up fares during 2022 but one thing is for sure there is no half measures been taken in pursuit of NW200, TT podium finishes.
