There’s high hopes for a new North American road race to join the pure roads scene in 2021, the Tecate, Baja California based Baja International Tourist Cup.

Located close to the USA/Mexico border, the event which is the brainchild of respected race events organiser Pedro A.Vargas Valdez is hoped to take place next year from the 13th-14th February on a 9.95 miles long roads course.

Racers to date to express an interest in sampling the prospective Baja International Tourist Cup include reigning San Pedro Martir Hill Climb winner Eric Foutch, former TT competitors Wade Boyd and Alex Torres Mori.
