Five times TT winner Dean Harrison will venture back this weekend to the Goodwood Revival (clashing with the 73rd Oliver’s Mount Gold Cup meeting), piloting alongside Chris Barfe, CR 450 Hansen Honda replica (1967) tackle which is to-be fettled-by renowned Honda technician, Ron Roebury.
Issuing his thoughts around impending Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy race stints, competing against the likes of roads scene contemporary’s TT wins record-holder Michael Dunlop, James Hillier, Lee Johnston, factory Honda team-mate of the past two TT’s, John McGuinness MBE, thirty-five times TT podium finisher Harrison, stated:
“The Revival is always such a good race to go to – it’s such a unique event and the atmosphere is always amazing.
There’s such a variety of classic bikes in the races, so you never really know what’s going to happen; all you know is that once everyone’s visor goes down, they will all be giving it a proper go!
I’ve not been to Goodwood for a few years, so I’m looking forward to teaming up with Chris and having a rip around on the little classic Honda.”
