Yesteryear racing fans had quite the dose of excitement, thrills, witnessing on Saturday, Sunday the striking skills illustrated throughout the CRMC (Classic Racing Motorcycle Club) season opener at Mallory Park.
Next generational Mountain Course racer Jorge Halliday, riding Davies Motorsport’s immaculately prepared 350 Honda, TX 500 Yamaha machines, excelled greatly, collecting four race victories.
A TT first-timer in 2023, he neared the 118 mph-lap mark at TT 2024, registering a best lap speed of 117.782 mph.
Halliday, still to officially announce TT 2025 plans, also last year, placed 23rd in the Classic Superbike Manx Grand Prix race, finishing second best Yamaha powered rider.
Alongside 2022 Thundersport GB Pre-National 600 Sport Champion Halliday, other roads scene exponents, experienced, growing in experience, up coming obtaining CRMC, Mallory Park victories included:
Brother of reigning Senior Manx GP winner Dan Ingham, Jamie Ingham, notorious Classics specialists 2014 Senior 500 Classic TT winner Alan Oversby and 748 Ducati, Rocket 3 BSA propelled Alex Sinclair.
