Once again, a stellar line up of international road racing talent, graced the acclaimed Goodwood Revival meeting.
The Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy races entry boasted 63 TT wins combined!
With this in-mind, pure road racing superfans, were maintaining a close eye on the exploits of those circulating around the 2.4 miles long Goodwood circuit.
Saturday’s race action saw Michael Dunlop, aboard the rasping Black Eagle Racing MV Agusta, incredibly move from 36th (last on the grid) to 1st before his race expedition expired on lap eight.
Victory honours were obtained by 2009 Senior TT winner Steve Plater & Glen English.
Plater/English went onto finish fourth in today’s 17-lap encounter which was dominated by Norton Manx 30M jockeys Michael Rutter/Michael Russell.
Macau Grand Prix wins record holder Rutter/Russell also claimed overall event success ahead of Plater/English.
Second best this morning to Rutter/Russell were race one third place finishers, 2019 IRRC Superbike Champion Davey Todd and George Thomas.
Triple TT winner, recent Senior Classic Manx Grand Prix victor Dean Harrison, John McGuinness MBE collected top six finishes whilst the prior showcased Dunlop & Andy Hornby battled their way up to eighth.
