Not to forget bringing back iconic liveries and Team Manager, the aforementioned Dunlop’s Irish Road Race 125/Moto 3 Championship success in 2019.
Speaking via Facebook about the Joey’s Bar MCC Racing project concluding following 2021 action, Dunlop who has also recently announced his retirement from racing, stated:
“Just a wee announcement to confirm if the 2021 road racing season goes ahead, it will be the last for the Joeys bar mcc racing team.
We’ve had a great but very tough 5 years since we decided to run our team. We’ve had some brilliant riders involved and fantastic sponsors to keep us on the road through it all and we really appreciate everyone thats helped us out along the way.
Massive thanks to all at the joeys bar mcc club, you’ve been fantastic and particularly Peter, Bryan and Lyle Millar. We definitely wouldn’t of made it happen without yourselves. Thanks again and hopefully we’ll get our swan song in 2021.”
