The entry for the Super Twin races this weekend at Frohburg, have been bolstered with the confirmation that Lightweight TT front runners Paton and Stefano Bonetti will be venturing to the iconic German venue.
On course for a rostrum finish at TT 2017, before encountering problems at Creg Ny Ba on lap 2, Italian Mountain Course great Bonetti since moving onto the nimble ultra competitive S1 Paton in 2016, has developed into an accomplished world class exponent of Super Twins machinery.
It would not at all be a surprise to see ‘Bonny’ secure a race win or two this weekend, as he and the factory SC Project run Paton team bid to end an extremely productive racing year for the popular marque in style.
Competition though will be of a high quality with the likes of Czech roads front runner David Hanzalik, plus Belgian Twin Trophy stars Joel Smolders and Niklas Pfeiffer all capable of scooping race wins.
With a 30 strong 30 grid, multiple makes represented and a whole host of hungry rising roads exponents determined to score a standout result or two, it’s no wonder the 10 lap Super Twin races are regarded amongst most exciting upcoming encounters at Frohburger Dreieck.
