Both IRRC superbike races at Frohburg, saw top class action from multiple established pure road racing stars.
IRRC Superbike Race 1
Opening IRRC superbike encounter, would prove to be a close fought affair as Johan Fredriks held off determined challenge from Sebastien Le Grelle to seal race victory.
Michael Rutter’s excellent Frohburg Road Races debut continues, with third place finish.
Penz 13.com BMW team mate Gary Johnson and East Coast Racing’s Lee Johnston recorded fourth and fifth place finishes.
Top six was completed by four times IRRC superbike champion Didier Grams.
2012 newcomers A Manx Grand Prix winner Kamil Holan, finished a highly creditable 11th.
Open Superbike Races
Johan Fredriks and Didier Grams recorded open superbike race victories. The duo two of the IRRC’s most decorated competitors both showed top class form to lead home a top quality field.
Which included two time TT winner Gary Johnson who impressed hugely on his debut at Frohburg, by sealing fourth and third place finishes on Penz 13.com BMW.
East Coast Racing’s Lee Johnston chalked up back to back fifth place finishes, as he showed his proven quality.
Further stand out performances included Rico Lowe with third and fourth place finishes, Matti Seidel in fourth in opening race.
IRRC Superbike Race 2
Lee Johnston, East Coast Racing S1000RR BMW held off a strong challenge from Penz 13.com BMW’s Michael Rutter, to win the second IRRC superbike race.
The two international pure road racing stars where covered by just 0.486 of a second, as they both proved why they have won between them over thirty international road race triumph’s.
Sebastien Le Grelle ended another highly productive meeting with third place finish, Johan Fredriks finished his IRRC campaign with fourth place.
Didier Grams battled his way through to fifth place finish, as Matti Seidel rounded out the top six finishers.
