IRRC Superbike
Johan Fredriks set the pace in IRRC superbike qualifying at Frohburg. Johan lapped at an impressive 1 minute 35.872 seconds to finish quicker, than IRRC superbike champion Sebastien Le Grelle, who lapped at 1 minute 36.680 seconds.
Third fastest was Michael Rutter on Penz 13.com Bathams backed S1000RR BMW. The four times TT winner has gelled quickly with Frohburg, as has team mate for this weekend Lee Johnston, who was sixth quickest.
Further stand out performances included Matti Seidel fourth quickest, Didier Grams fifth quickest, Kamil Holan seventh fastest.
Top ten was completed by David Drieghe, Jochem Van Den Hoek and Marc Fissette. Two time TT winner Gary Johnson making his Frohburg debut, finished a highly creditable 12th in qualifying.
IRRC Supersport
Marek Cerveny’s superb 2015 pure road racing season continued by finishing fastest in IRRC supersport qualifying, at Frohburg.
Piloting Intermoto backed ZX6R Kawasaki, Marek held off strong challenge from second quickest Laurent Hoffmann.
2014 Czech road racing super twins champion Michal Dokoupil finished a more than creditable sixth fastest, whilst CBR 600 Honda mounted Tuukka Korhonen was 18th quickest.
Open Superbike
Johan Fredriks, 1 minute 39.973 seconds lead the way in open superbike qualifying. Four times IRRC superbike champion Didier Grams was second quickest, Rico Lowe third, Thilo Gunther fourth.
Gary Johnson piloting Penz 13.com Bathams S1000RR BMW impressed in finishing fifth fastest, the 2014 Monster Energy supersport TT race 1 winner cannot be discounted from been in contention for podium finishes tomorrow.
Same applies to Jochem Van Den Hoek, Matti Seidel, David Drieghe, 2012 newcomers A Manx Grand Prix winner Kamil Holan and Ulster Grand Prix hat trick hero Lee Johnston.
