Brigg’s Sam Johnson has recently unveiled his pure road racing schedule for 2020 which includes returns to the TT Races, North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix and selected Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough events.
12th within last month’s Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup, the 68th Scarborough Gold Cup meeting also saw him secure a top ten placing in the second Supersport A class race.

41st within the opening Monster Energy Supersport encounter of 2019, he’s aiming to sample entry permitting at TT 2020 the Superbike, Superstock and Senior races, having recently acquired a ZX10 Kawasaki mount for next season.
Johnson who’s set to compete again under his own teams FR Racing banner in 2020, recently tested his new Kawasaki steed at Cadwell Park and provided comment about the test session via his Facebook racing page.
He candidly stated:
“Had a little test and it fits like a glove!! Big help and opportunity to get speeds up and more track time.
Overall I feel more suited to the bigger machines more than the smaller classes.”
Hugely ambitious, racers like Johnson who’s also targeting Classic TT competition in 2020, give it everything in pursuit of accomplishing their racing dreams and one cannot but have the upmost respect for competitors like them.
