Excellent conditions around the mountain course, greeted competitors, for tonight’s formula 1 classic TT practice session.

11 times TT winner Michael Dunlop showed why he is a master around the most iconic of all pure road racing circuit’s by instantly showing world class form.

Piloting team classic Suzuki Michael lapped at 122.964 mph, to finish fastest, as he laid down a marker to everyone.

Ryan Farquhar was in excellent form on Team Winfield 1100 Harris Yamaha, securing lap speed of 122.134 mph to finish second quickest.

Finishing third fastest was James Hillier on Greenall Racing ZXR 750 Kawasaki, as the 2013 lightweight TT winner surged to lap speed of 118.569 mph.

Fourth quickest was Ivan Lintin on Steelcote Solutions Ltd backed ZXR 750 Kawasaki, Ivan produced highly creditable lap speed of 118.563 mph.

Completing the top six in practice where Russ Mountford, Silicone Engineering Racing ZXR 750 Kawasaki and Team York Suzuki’s David Johnson.

Further standout performances included Ulster Grand Prix superbike race 2 winner Peter Hickman 117.267 mph, continuing to gel quickly with Mistral Racing ZXR 750 Kawasaki.

Plus Dean Harrison 117.246 mph, Dan Kneen 117.139 mph, Mark Miller 117.109 mph and William Dunlop 109.728 mph gaining mountain course track time for the first time, on national motorcycle museum backed rotary Norton.
