Modern senior race two saw the CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade mounted rider finish a highly creditable eighth as he showed good form around the mount.
Julian loves competing around Oliver’s Mount, one of his favourite parts of the iconic road race circuit is the Jefferies Jumps.
One of his all time heroes in pure road racing is David Jefferies, the nine times TT winner is one of a select group of riders to have won the Steve Henshaw international gold cup five times.
Julian’s modern day hero on the roads is the remarkable Ian Hutchinson who has battled through adversity in the last five years to get back to the top.
Alongside returning to Scarborough for the prestigious gold cup meeting Julian is aiming to soon make his debut at the worlds fastest road race the Ulster Grand Prix.
His main long term ambition in pure road racing is to compete in the Isle of Man on the mountain course.
