By In-light of yesterday’s IRRC announcement about Imatranajo, leaving the Championship calendar for 2026, ESR (European Series Road Racing) chiefs have reiterated their commitment to Finland’s Northwest 200 equivalent.
Nordic nations premier road race will continue to host, the planned fourth ESR round of 2026 in July (3rd-5th).
ESR organisers are also looking at helping IRRC Supersport competitors, who still want to compete at the world acclaimed event.
Covering this subject via social media, they stated:
“Following the recent news about the IRRC Imatra round being cancelled, ESR is calling all Supersport riders who are still interested in racing at Imatra.
If you would like to take part, please contact the ESR organisation for further information about logistics, event details, and participation.
Let’s keep racing — we look forward to hearing from you!”
