Enniskillen Road Races To Hit TV’s Across The World Thanks To Greenlight/BBC NI Deal

In a huge promotion boost, the newly reincarnated Enniskillen Road Races will hit TV screens across the world this year, following confirmation that Greenlight TV will produce a highlights program of this June’s event, which will be broadcast on BBC Northern Ireland.

One of the great success stories of last years roads season, the Enniskillen meet captured the imagination of teams, riders, marshals, fans and road racing super fans.

Receiving title sponsorship again from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, anticipated entrants for late June’s competition on the fast, flowing Enniskillen course, include reigning Duke Road Race Rankings champion Derek McGee, Team DHR’s Darryl Tweed, former Irish Road Race Senior Support champion Kevin Fitzpatrick, plus many more rising stars.

Commenting on the latest positive news for the UK’s newest roads event, Enniskillen and District Motorcycle Club (Road Racing) Ltd, Chairman Rodney Shaw, stated:

“We are delighted to confirm that Greenlight TV on board for 2019, with a highlights programme to be aired on BBC NI as well as across the globe. We are delighted to have BBC Sport NI on board, and we look forward to showcasing our area.

We appeal for everyone to support the Enniskillen Road Races by purchasing a programme, as this is one of the main revenue streams for the event, and/or make a donation in the bucket with the programme sellers.”

The official launch of the 2019 Enniskillen Road Races, takes place tonight, with guests including Davies Motorsport’s Dominic Herbertson.
