Dean Harrison is all set for the 2014 Macau Grand Prix. Its been in 2014 a tremendous year of road racing for one of the most talented road racers in the world.
Dean secured his first TT victory in lightweight TT following a superb all round performance on RC Express racing ER6 Kawasaki, five wins at the Southern 100 followed including senior and 600/1000 race successes followed along with a new lap record around Billown.
At Oliver’s Mount where Dean is the second fastest rider in history would see more standout and top results secured which included cock of the north feature race victory for second year in a row, Barry Sheene trophy victory at the Barry Sheene road race festival and seven wins in total at the cock of the north road races.
Another top result this season for the RC Express racing Kawasaki rider was 4th place finish in Dundrod 150 superbike race, this result was better than it looked as Dean was competing with just a stock engine in RC Express racing ZX10 Kawasaki superbike, plus in the race he acquired personal best lap speed around Dundrod of over 133 mph.
Opening race at the 2014 Ulster Grand Prix provided him with his first Ulster GP podium finish with second position recorded in superstock race following a thrilling battle for race win with Dan Kneen.
But then after this Dean was involved in three rider incident on opening lap of supersport race. Since then he is well on the road to recovery and is looking forward to this years Macau Grand Prix where he will be bidding to secure personal best finish at the iconic road race having achieved 12th place finish on debut around Macau in 2013.
