Planning to compete for the third time this August, at the Manx Grand Prix, two stroke specialist Carsten Svendsen is set to again this year, be the sole competitor from Denmark to tackle the Mountain Course.
Fifth within the 2016 Newcomers B encounter, last years Manx GP saw him prior to an early race retirement, lead on lap 1 of the Lightweight race, the 250 challenge, standing at the completion of the opening lap in 27th place, courtesy of a lap speed of 104.370 mph.

Looking towards his prospective Mountain Course stint of 2018, he has elected to enter the newly introduced Ultra Lightweight races, which will run alongside the Super Twins dominated Lightweight encounters.
RS 125 mounted for the three lap races, the ambitious Danish road racer is also this year set to take in the Lightweight Classic TT for the second time, piloting his trusty year 2000 spec TZ 250 Yamaha.
Outside of Mountain Course action, the amiable Svendsen is also planning to compete in 2019, at the inaugural Isle of Samsoe roads event.
