Dan Kneen recorded world class results during the 2015 Southern 100.
The reigning Irish road race superbike champion began race action around Billown, with solid fourth place finish in senior race.
Opening supersport 600 race would see Dan piloting Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles CBR 600 Honda finish in third position, after a thrilling race which saw the race lead change four times.
Following third position in second supersport 600 race, attentions turned to action on Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade in 600/1000, solo championship races.
600/1000 race would prove to be another highly productive one for Dan, having lead throughout the 2014 Ulster Grand Prix superstock race winner finished a more than creditable fourth at the end of another compelling race at the friendly races.
Blue riband solo championship was next up. Right from the start of the nine lap race, Dan showcased his proven ability around Billown by pushing Tyco BMW’s Guy Martin all the way.
Second place finish represented his best result so far with the Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles team.
Dan was overall happy with his results during the 2015 Southern 100, he proved once again why many regard him amongst the world’s leading pure road racers.
Next pure road race meeting coming up for Dan, is the world’s fastest road race, the Ulster Grand Prix.
