Daley Mathison is in buoyant mood going into next season. Daley enjoyed arguably his best year of pure road racing action in 2014 following series of highly impressive performances.
One of the main highlights of the season where his results at the worlds fastest road race the Ulster Grand Prix. Opening supersport race provided the rising road racing star with hugely creditable seventh place finish.
Ultra lightweight race would prove to be one of the most memorable races of Daley’s career to date. Race victory was recorded following a determined and superb all round performance on Logan racing RS125 Honda. Feature superbike race saw excellent sixth position achieved as Daley finished in front of eight times TT winner Ian Hutchinson.
The popular Aberdare park road races would prove to be highly prodigious for Daley who clinched overall Welsh open victory as he showed more excellent form on Hol Taj backed GSX-R 600 Suzuki.
Around Oliver’s Mount he enjoyed a highly successful years action around the iconic road race circuit. Barry Sheene road race festival would see three second place finishes and one third place finish achieved whilst the cock of the north road races saw more top results acquired.
The prestigious Scarborough gold cup was the final road race meet of the season for Daley who secured two third place finishes in David Jefferies cup supersport races. Senior A race two saw another highlight of the season produced following second place finish as he finished in front of 21 times Isle of Man TT winner John McGuinness.

As for the 2015 road racing season the rider regarded by many as been amongst the next generation of leading international road racers breaking onto the scene is set to be Suzuki mounted for superbike, superstock and supersport classes.
Returns to Oliver’s Mount, Ulster Grand Prix, North West 200 and Isle of Man TT all look set to happen next year for Daley who might also in the future compete at the Southern 100. A highly talented rider Daley Mathison is no doubt one to watch in 2015 where he will be bidding for more top class results at every road race which he competes in.
