Cornwall’s Forest Dunn has recently confirmed that for his latest upcoming Ulster GP tenure, he will link up with Dave Hewson’s highly regarded DHRR/Obsession Engineering team, piloting ZX10R Kawasaki machinery in the Superstock, Superbike races.
One of International road racing’s great characters, the ever cheerful Dunn last month at TT 2018, banked a huge new personal best TT finish of 15th, following an impressive performance within the record breaking Bennetts Lightweight race.
Outside of his fourth TT Races campaign, added highlights of the 2018 roads season have included finishing a very creditable 16th within the feature Superbike race at the Vauxhall International North West 200, plus securing a brace of solid results at Tandragee.
Looking forward to working and competing alongside good friend Dave Hewson, plus experienced International roads exponent Eric Wilson next month at Dundrod, he’s confident of enjoying his most tumultuous Ulster GP venture to date.

Candidly speaking recently about this topic, he stated:
“I’m absolutely buzzing about teaming up with Dave and Eric in the Obsession Engineering Team at the 2018 Ulster Grand Prix, to ride their ZX10R Kawasaki.
Davey has looked after me since my first road race in the 2014 Scarborough Gold Cup and we’ve been mates ever since that meeting!
Both him and Eric are both awesome down to earth lads and we are all on the same level, even though we all have different backgrounds we all have the same passion for racing as well as having a bloody good laugh whilst we are doing it.
Which is why I’m confident we will have a cracking Ulster Grand Prix, there’s no pressure and seeing as it’s my local track nowadays I feel at home every time I pass the circuit on the way to work!!
Can’t wait to get out in first practice and see what we can bring to the plate this year!! Here’s hoping this awesome weather holds out!!”
