Respected French roads competitor Richard Vuillermet has announced his ambition to tackle the opening Irish road races of 2022, the 100th Anniversary Cookstown 100 and the Around A Pound Tandragee 100.
For his latest real road racing adventures, the former French Hill Climb Champion is set to race 400, ZX6 Kawasaki machinery.
Supported again the Montagne Family team, Vuillermet has steadily built up his road race experience over the last ten years and there’s no doubt that he has the roads craft, aptitude to adapt quickly to the acclaimed Cookstown, Tandragee courses.
Alongside aforementioned national roads ventures, Vuillermet is also targeting returning to the Isle of Man, for the Manx Grand Prix.
Thus far in his MGP career, he has accumulated a series of creditable finishes plus has lapped the fabled, mythical Mountain Course at over the 111-mph lap mark.
As with prospective Cookstown, Tandragee outings, he’s planning to stick with Kawasaki mounts in yesteryear, modern era form for this August’s much anticipated action.
