Cookstown Centenary Celebrations Latest

With the 2022 KDM Hire Cookstown just over a couple of months away, the organising club continues to look forward to what is a special year for the Cookstown & District MCC.

Founded in 1922, the club is celebrating its centenary year this year, and to coincide with the club’s 100th Anniversary, a Static Motor Cycle and Memorabilia Display will take place in the Burnavon Arts & Cultural Centre, Cookstown, beginning on Thursday 7th April and will run until Monday 25th April.

This exhibition will include some rare memorabilia from the Cookstown 100 races over the years, including photographs, newspaper cuttings, etc, along with Motorcycles raced at Cookstown.

This display will have ‘Free admission’ and is on the second floor. This showing is easily accessed from the Burn Road Car Park, Burn Rd, Cookstown and will be open during the opening hours of the Burnavon&Arts Culture Centre.

Bike Week returns for the 2022 event, with the annual Classic Bike, run taking place on Tuesday 18th April, departing from the Burn Road car park at 7.30 PM.
