Excitement is entering another level for Irish Road Racing aficionados, fans, with the 101st Anniversary CDE Group Cookstown 100, due to begin today.
The opening Irish roads event of 2023, has a seventeen-race schedule which includes the showpiece, 12-lap Superbike A race.
Leading names primed for Cookstown racing stints include 21 times TT winner Michael Dunlop, BE Racing In Conjunction with Richardson Kelly Racing’s Michael Browne, Barry Davidson, Darryl Tweed and current Irish Road Race Superbike Champion Michael Sweeney.
Talented racers set to tackle the Orritor Circuit for the first time include Jacque Foley, Aaron Spence and Baja International Tourist Cup runner-up Dave Thomas.
