Team classic Suzuki team mate Lee Johnston 122.444 mph, is in contention for podium placing or better as is Ryan Farquhar 122.229 mph on Team Winfield 1100 Harris Yamaha.
Further stand out performers in practice included third fastest Dean Harrison 122.767 mph, Mistral Racing’s Jamie Coward 120.935 mph, Dan Kneen 119.765 mph, Mark Miller 119.240 mph and David Johnson lapping close to 121 mph on team York Suzuki.
Plus Bruce Anstey lapping in excess of 122.5 mph on Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles YZR 500 Yamaha, will start one of the prime contenders for race victory.
