With fast flowing roads, the smooth riding style, pin-point accuracy required to post leading times, the Gladstone based New Zealand hill climb, has a pure road racing vibe about it.
After last Sunday’s timed action, Shanon Dellow regained the ‘King of The Hill’ title.
Aboard a 15 year-old GSX-R 1000 Suzuki, Dellow recorded a best time of 2 minutes 13 seconds, which equated speed wise to 103.269 mph.
Tied second quickest behind Dellow were Burt Munro Challenge front-runner Jordan Burley and top Supersport pilot Jean Pierre Bouchet.
Overall, 10 racers acquired lap speeds topping 95-mph whilst an additional five competitors edged over the 90-mph lap mark.
