Fastest from Saturday, Sunday’s timed action at Gladstone was Featherston based Shannon Dellow, powering his 2008 spec GSX-R 1000 Suzuki to a best lap time of 2 minutes 15.622 seconds, which equates speed wise to 101.271 mph.
Nearest pursuers to Dellow were C2 class pace setters Jean Pierre Bouchet (2.20.365), Doyle Matautia (2.21.156) whilst Sunday C2 class front runner Steven Gregg (2.21.622) placed overall fourth quickest.
Overall today nine competitors piloting a mix of Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Triumph machinery registered sub 2 minute 30 second lap times whilst a further five racers, dipped below the 2 minute 40 seconds lap mark.
