Outside of the front runners, regular podium finishers competing, it’s always good to highlight the stories of those lesser known riders who are giving it everything, in pursuit of accomplishing their ambitions, goals, dreams.
Cleethorpes Jeff Smith, a Classic TT competitor since 2014, epitomises the above text. 22nd in last year’s Senior Classic encounter, his event CV presently includes three top 25 finishes and overall five top 30 finishes.

Looking ahead to this August’s Mountain Course action, Smith who’s set to pilot Minnovation Seeley G50, RobSpeed Motorcycles backed K4 Honda machinery, stated:
“Aiming for top 20 finishes but realistically maintaining my normal top 25 placings. I normally race classics on the short circuits but these bikes are quite a change from the old two stroke Bridgestone, I normally pilot.”
Reminder the Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling affiliated Classic TT Races, gets underway in just over forty four days time on the 17th of August.
