Perhaps surprising many, but not surprising various three wheel racing aficionados, Cemetery Circuit newcomers Gary Bryan/Phil Hyde proved the team to beat at Wanganui on Boxing Day, dominating both F1/F2 combined Sidecar races.
Chipping away with their pace throughout practice, qualifying sessions, the experienced pairing of Bryan/Hyde quickly hit the sweet spot with the tight, twisty, technical Cemetery Circuit course.
The opening F1/F2 Sidecar encounter saw them hold off the attentions of John Holden/Robbie Shorter, to claim race spoils by just over the two second margin.
Their dream event debut concluded in style within the feature ten lap Sidecar race, as Bryan/Hyde powered to victory by the lengthy margin of 7.3 seconds.
As in the previous three wheeling encounter, Holden/Shorter lead the challenge to the CVS Global backed duo whilst the final spot on the podium was clinched by local heroes Barry Smith/Tracey Bryan.
