Supersport TT race 1 winners Carl Cox Motorsport are supporting Greg Lambert and Julie Canipa’s debut at Wanganui on boxing day, as the experienced duo tackle for the first time the famous Cemetery Circuit.
Consistent challengers for top class results at Oliver’s Mount, they enjoyed a very productive TT 2017 recording 14th and 8th place finishes, along the way lapping close to the 109 mph mark, at 108.884, which made Douglas based Canipa the fastest female Manx Sidecar competitor on the Mountain Course.
Driver North Yorkshireman Lambert, a twice TT podium finisher one of the three wheeling fraternity’s great stalwarts, consistently year in year out produces accomplished, solid performances at the world’s most famous road race.
Set to pilot in December his own teams John Yates Golden Fleece York backed outfit, he’s the latest international road race winning podium finishing competitor planning to travel to New Zealand.
Joined in a few months time by the likes of Tim Reeves/Mark Wilkes, event specialists Barry Smith/Tracey Bryan, Tony Baker/Shelly Smithies and Germany’s Eckart Rosinger/Steffen Werner close fought captivating Sidecar action is a guarantee on boxing day, down under.
