Bruce Anstey secured race victory and a new lap record in formula 1 classic TT. Bruce competing on Valvoline racing by Padgetts motorcycles YZR 500 Yamaha stormed into race lead at Glen Helen on opening lap leading by three seconds. From here the nine time TT winner pulled out by lap three an advantage of over 1 minute.
At the end of lap three Bruce had recorded another memorable victory on the mountain course plus on opening lap the 29 times international road race winner set a new lap record of 123.894 mph.
2014 has been overall another top year of racing for one of the most naturally talented road racers of the last twenty years which has included four podium finishes at TT 2014, feature Ulster Grand Prix superbike victory, North West 200 supersport race 2 win and new Isle of Man TT lap record with lap speed of 132.298 mph a quite remarkable lap speed around the greatest road racing circuit in the world.
