Reigning Irish Road Race Moto 3, Supersport Champion Michael Browne 2024 road racing plans are already in place, following a new agreement with long term suitors BE (Burrows Engineering)/RK (Richardson Kelly) Racing.
Cork’s Browne has had quite the 2023 season, equally impressive on short circuits and the roads.
Roads wise, top highlights have included becoming the Republic of Ireland’s fastest TT racer, unlocking TT podium finish membership, Supersport success at Cookstown, Oliver’s Mount Cock O’The North feature races runner-up and last month taking second in the Armoy ‘Race of Legends’.
For next season, this year’s Enkalon Trophy, Neil Robinson trophy victor is confirmed to be aboard again, ex TAS Racing M1000RR BMW machinery.
Speaking about today’s international road racing update, Browne stated via Facebook:
“I am happy once again to be signing for Burrows Engineering / RK Racing for a fifth year.
Being sorted for next year this early allows me to concentrate on another winter of training in readiness for 2024.
2023 brought us some great results on both short circuits and road races, and after a year of solid data gathering with the BMW’s I feel we are now getting them into a working window in which we can build on next year.
Thank you to John (Burrows) and Charlotte (Richardson) again for this opportunity.”
