By Aiming to bolster an already accomplished Mountain Course racing CV, Italian roads hero Stefano Bonetti is set to switch to Yamaha power for TT 2023.
Team Consonni have gained Bonetti’s services, providing the North West 200 winner, Senior Classic Manx GP runner-up with an immaculately turned out R1 Yamaha steed.
Over 25 times a bronze replica finisher, five times a silver replica finisher, TT 2022 proved challenging to say the least for the ever genial Bonetti, who finished just one race, placing 23rd in the Royal London 360 Superstock encounter.
Almost twenty years a TT Races exponent, the drive, enthusiasm to achieve precise goals at the world’s most famous road race remains for ‘Bonny’.
The 46th quickest racer in TT history alongside venturing back to Manx shores, 2023 racing plans also include tackling again the North West 200, with the aforementioned Team Consonni outfit.
