Bishop Castle’s Barry Furber is the latest proficient Mountain Course racer to announce his plans for TT 2022, as he aims to shine at the world’s most famous road race in just over 140 days time.
Runner up within the Newcomers B Manx Grand Prix of 2014, he’s since gone onto secure various strong TT results including placing 11th, 12th in the Lightweight class encounters from 2017 and 2018.
Overall three times a top 15 finisher, his impressive TT CV also includes no less than eight top thirty finishes plus a further four top 35 finishes.
Recent years have seen Furber keep up his roads craft, tackling selected events at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough and delving into the Irish national roads scene at Armoy.
A reliable, solid Mountain Course pilot, his TT 2022 project, pending success with entry applications, will see him race the following steeds:
