Outright Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough lap record holder Dean Harrison, new Greenall Racing ZXR 750 Kawasaki steed will carry the number 1 plate.
21 racers are set to make their Scarborough racing debut’s including a competitor from the Isle of Wight, Ryan Whitehall.
2017 Newcomers A Manx GP winner Brad Vicars compete again under Robbie Silvester’s VRS Racing banner, piloting CBR 600 Honda, ZXR, Z650 Kawasaki machines.
Five racers are 675 Daytona Triumph mounted within the Supersport class, whilst 25 riders pilot Yamaha’s much lauded YZF R6 model.
Overall entry numbers stand at 110 plus, with the highest start number 751 held by prospective debutant John Leigh Pemberton.
It’s been recently confirmed that the Davies Motorsport 500 Yamaha is Scarborough bound and will be piloted by 2018 Junior Classic TT winner Dominic Herbertson.
Herbertson is also set to compete on the distinctive sounding John Chapman Racing RS 250 Honda.
Sidecars are not featuring at this year’s Barry Sheene Classic but are hoped to return to the ‘Mini TT’ for the prestigious Gold Cup meeting in September.
Were closing in on the 75th anniversary of racing at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough, which remains presently England’s only real roads circuit.
In total 31 races are scheduled to take place this weekend!
